    1950 John Deere D Magneto-distributer conversion?

    I'm certain it is possible, but why? Mags are simpler to diagnose spark issues on than a distributor and the tractor will still run even if the battery and charging system quit working. If you are going to insist on switching, why not go whole hog and put on an electronic one?
