VERY early Super H for sale

I"m sorry for posting something for sale here, but just wanted to direct anyone who"s interested. I have Super H #540 for sale - that means it was #40 off the line. Runs good. You can find my ad in the classified section. Any questions can be forwarded to [email protected]. Thanks!

    300 U shifting problem

I rebuilt the shifter on my super H. That and the brakes have been some of the most satisfying repairs. I"m assuming the shift pattern is the same on the 300 U: R 2 4 1 3 5 From what I encountered, and keep in mind I had the basic shape but fine tuning was needed, the shift lever seemed the...

    OEM Disc brake service

It"s really pretty easy to do. Pretty self-explanatory when you take it apart. You won"t need a manual or anything like that. You can order discs, linkages, springs, boots and balls, and be way ahead of the game versus OEM (and I like OEM). When I bought my super H a couple of years ago...

    ford 801 diesel

Does anyone know how many 801 diesels were made? Saw a nice 841 diesel and just wondering if it"s anything more desirable than the other models. I"ve always liked the 801"s and thought someday I may find one to take home. Thanks in advance for the help!

    3 Position Light Switch

I"ll throw in a 3rd for the soldered ends. I just made a new cable for myself out of 2/0 guage marine grade cable. A little pricey, but it"s worth it. I used a soldered lug on one end, and a soldered ring on the other. Lots of flux, and be warned - It does take a surprising amount of solder...

Ya'll to the east and N. east

I"m on a ship off of Southern New England. Forcast calls for gales throughout the day tomorrow, gusting to 45 knots, seas 8-11 feet, subsiding 7-9 feet late in the day. Yuck. You should be happy it"s just your windows rattling... It"ll be my fillings tomorrow!! Makes for a long day.

    farmall h fenders

How best to tap the holes where the mounting bolts go into the axles on an H? The holes are pretty well rusted inside and the threads are almost nonexistant. Must have sat filled with water by the prior owner(s). I"m worried about the proper depth of the hole, proper tap size, and hardness of...

    Stiff clutch on Super M

If the clutch pedal is simply hard to fully depress due to it being a long reach, OEM tractor parts (possibly others) sells a clutch extension. It looks like a heavy duty bracket that goes on the yoke at the end of the clutch operating shaft which runs from the end of the pedal. It won"t move...

    Super H shifter lever

Hey guys, I"ve read all of the earlier posts about removing a worn out shifter on the H"s, building up the end and then grinding it back into shape. So, I"ve removed the shift lever, and it is definitely a bit worn. Question is, when I take it into work to have one of the guys weld it, they...

Any younger Farmall owners? Younger being relative I guess.

I"m 34. My family owned a dairy farm in Massachusetts when I was a kid. They were milking like 5-600 head at one point. Anyway, nothing left now, so I"ve got a "53 Super H and a "47 A industrial for me and the kids to mess around with. Family never had Farmalls or Internationals - I just...

    O/T Pushing snow this morning

I saw three waterspouts in a line while running a ferry on Long Island Sound off of New Haven, CT in February about 10 years ago. Never heard of a waterspout in New England before, never mind in the dead of winter! And yes, have had thunder snow also.
