cleaning the gas tank
I had that problem about 4 years ago. Unscrewed the valve from the tank and drained gas through a strainer in funnel and reran gas through tank pouring gas in tank to agitate rust while draining tank. If I remember right I used fuel oil to flush tank. Haven't had a problem since.- numistay

converting front mount to side mount
I have a front mount magneto for a 2N that I was going to convert a 8N from a front mount to a side mount. I don't think it would be too hard to install an electronic ignition in place of the mag components. It is in very good shape & looks like new.
