    Pellet/corn stove

i know off topic, but an additional 500$ worth of insulation would be less expensive, and return on your money quickly. also there used to be a tax credit for adding insulation to your residence, not sure if it is still available?

    my latest dilema

maybe the throughout bearing is installed backwards, not really sure if that is possible, or would cause this problem. need some advice form some of these guys that work on them a lot, i only did one tractor, but several cars. Can you get the transmission into neutral? one way to check might...

    my latest dilema

Will the clutch disengage the engine from the transmission? i had a similar problem, and the clutch was stuck on the splined shaft of the transmission. The engine would turn over slow because it was turning all of the gears in the transmission, etc. I had to split the tractor, R&R the clutch...

Keep the 99, and trade one of the others for transmission work on the 99. 4x4 is nice around the farm. When something else goes out, trade another older one for repair work, get rid of them over time. Scrap steel will hold its value better than the cash money you get from selling them.

Circuit breaker panel auxulary gen tie in

kind of leaning twords the transfer switch idea, and a new 200 amp box and maybe use the 100 amp circuit boxes on the out buildings, which need a breaker box anyway. I need to make it so it can be managed while i am away, so fool proof is more better.

I am rewiring my house, and want to add a connection for my pto generator. I have a 100 amp breaker box, and was wondering if i could just tie in a second 100 amp breaker box, tie it to the first, and then tie in the aux gen to the second box, which would have all the stuff i want to run when...

    Are You Kidding?

When in my last semester of college, I owed the college 20 some cents, which was at the time less than what the postage cost to send me the bill. I thought they were kidding, but they said my diploma would not arrive until the bill was paid. I sent them a check for the bill plus .02 cents...

Thoughts on engineers.. let's hear yours

One hundred and some odd years ago, we had no comercial airplanes, airports, freeways with overpasses, High rise buildings, instant global communication, reliable power, medicines for common diseases, etc, etc. Engineers helped bring all of these things to the average person like myself. My...
