    actually listened to the boy once.....

    Found out just over a week ago that I have Type 2. Has been a wake up call for sure.I have drastically changed my diet and feel better already. If I hadn't herniated a disc recently I wouldn't have gone to the Dr. and wouldn't have found out.

    Mike, I am in NE Ohio as well and have noticed the same grass in a field we planted two years ago it was just a clover,timothy and orchardgrass blend but in the wetter area of this field the grass looks exactly like your picture. I wish my whole field was as thick as that stuff.

    Haybine trouble

    Mowing with the 472 tonight when I heard A rattle.Sounds like the conditioning rollers are hitting each other so after shutting it down I noticed there isn't a drive chain on the sprockets for the lower roller,actually doesn't look like there has been one there for years I only bought this...

    Recently visited a new store here called "Fin Feather and Fur" I bought a couple of boxes of .22s for $6.99 a box of 50. probably 100 boxes on shelf. And no one else in line behind me.

    A friend of mine uses Tirebuyer.com,some tires have free shipping. His FIL owns a garage and wasn't able to get him tires as cheap as tirebuyer even at cost.

    Back surgery

    I had a laminectomy and discsectomy on two discs this past August.The first week after surgery was the worst week of my life. I thought the pain meds would be enough too keep the pain at bay but quickly realized I had to keep ice on my back to stay somewhat comfortable.

    Frost seeding clover

    I "frost seeded" red clover one year by setting gangs on transport disc straight and set to where they slice top inch or so then spread seed, The next day it rained and washed seed into sliced soil.Actually worked pretty good.

    AAA towing - what good is it!

    I had AAA years ago until I needed a tow from my drive to a repair shop,when driver showed up he said I would either have to pay for the tow or push my vehicle onto the street Cuz AAA was for "Emergency Assistance" only.No more AAA for me.

    Battery life

    Replaced a Valucraft battery in the s-10 today.It wouldn't hold charge for more than a day,bought an Exide battery at TSC today.Just got back in the house.New battery sure does spin that little 2.2 fast now.Valucraft battery was at least 7 years old.

    OT--New discovery for children

    FIL has an old Pepsi machine in his basement,the kind that dispensed bottles for .10c. kids were amazed when we filled it up and turned it on.
