    They are not running the pumps to irrigate. They are running them to move irrigation system into position for harvesting and field work. Just a FYI

    It's September. Soybeans should be turning brown now. I am just a few miles east of you and don't see the dry conditions you claim Terre Haute has.

    JD 116 charging problems

    Briggs DOES use a diode to convert AC to DC in this system. It's a crude way to convert DC but simple and effective.
