d 17 diesel
Sorry im wrong about the date of manufacture.must be thinking about the wd45 .Not exactly sure why its unrebuildable. But i know he has rebuilt it before .And has several allis chalmers tractors .two 190 xts one d17 gas a g .He has rebuilt them all over the years .My dad rebuilt the d17 diesel...- old working dog

Thanks for the advice but i have checked all those things .to no avail.Thats why i think it may be the electronic advance.As soon as it warms up depending on out side temp it smoothes right out.Is the advance temp sensitive?Why im asking is if you give it gas right after start up it back fires- old working dog
