    Check your EGR valve for carbon deposits.Sounds like it is hanging open sometimes.

    Re: OT Fencing questions/advice

    Make sure you got solid corners on either end of wet places and stretch the sh!t out of 5 wires. Use fence stays every 8 feet.Wouldn't hurt to stick a couple posts in just for some stability,but the corners will have to hold the fence tight.Double H braces would help too.

    If you got a buddy that will weld a patch on,go for it. Another option is JB Weld and screen wire.Layer of JB,lay screen wire in,cover with more JB. Works Great!

    Next time you have tire off,take a regular cotton ball and lightly drag it all around inside of tire. I bet you got thorns or something else barely poking through tires. Cure: install rims capable of running tubeless tires and Slime them or foam fill.

    Hydraulic filter element on a 1958 International 340 Utility

    Are the top holes the same size where it mounts to suction tube? From the looks of things,either International got you the wrong filter or it may be the superceded part for later tractors. The "bracket" that is screwed onto bottom of old filter looks to support filter by pressing against sump...

    Cheapest medical insurance for senior only. Has cataracts,

    I have Medicare A&B. Replacement lenses cost me approximately $1300.00 out of pocket in 2003. I don't think they just remove cataracts anymore. Medicaid would pay 100% if she can get qualified.

    8n ford tractor

    Have you tried a little starting fluid to see if engine will fire? That will help diagnose fuel or electrical problem. Also make sure plugs are firing when engine is turning over with starter.Sometimes plugs will fire by opening points manually,and not with starter. Another thing is check...

    9n ford exhaust/intake manafolds

    All the N's have 4 bolts unless there was a oddball. Pretty sure all the manifolds interchange too. Late 8N with side mount MAY be different,but I don't think so.

    There is a vaccum leak somewhere.At idle the vaccum is strong enough to overcome the leak.
