    Ignition switch for A/B

I was a Navy E.T. and worked on computers which is one heck of a lot different then working on the wiring of a tractor. As for looking at the switch didn't you read where I said it was wired the way it is by someone other then myself??? Yes I did later after I built the BA found that the light...

    Ignition switch for A/B

I was looking for the right switch but I didn't know the OEM was not made for a battery type ignition since every A/B I have had used the rotary type switch for ignition even those that used battery ignition and I have had at least 4 Bs over the years

    Ignition switch for A/B

As has been said time and time again if it isn't broke DON'T fix it and it hasn't been broke. As for the site having the switch when I looked the other day I didn't find the OE switch

    WD45 (Gas) Sputters

A WD45 doesn't have a fuel pump it is a gravity flow fuel system. Does choking it hurt or help. If it hurts it is running to rich and you need to check your air cleaner and make sure it has good fresh oil and it isn't full of water and mud. If it helps you need to open up the main jet a bit

    Ignition switch for A/B

I give you as much info as I have and it was there when I built the tractor so I left it as it was so I don't really know how it is wire it was that way when I started building it

    Ignition switch for A/B

That one looks a lot like it but I'll have to open up the box it sits in to see for sure been a few years since I had it open to see it

    Ignition switch for A/B

It's a BA as in front half B and back half A. The ignition switch it has is the old factory rotary switch which from what I understand also turned on the charging system and head light if it had them. The knob on the switch is about the size of a 50 cent piece.

    Ignition switch for A/B

It did come from an A or B and both had battery ignition on them.

    Ignition switch for A/B

Yes I know new old stock maybe hard to find if it can be found. Not sure if the switch came from the A or B but if I remember right there the same on either one. A few years back I had a problem with this switch and found it had been wired so the fuse was in line with the ignition and that was...

    Ignition switch for A/B

Thing is I want a switch like the OEM one since the old one lasted decades and looks right. Yes I know the tractor was built from junk tractors and built from what I had laying around and it has done it job for around a decade now if not longer

    Ignition switch for A/B

I've tried the marine type switches that O'Reilly's auto part has and they didn't last but a year or so.

    Ignition switch for A/B

Y-T doesn't carry a factory type ignition switch for the A or the B which is what I had hoped for. All the push pulkl or toggle type switches I have tried over the years got ad in less then 2 years

    Ignition switch for A/B

You have been lucky then. I have replaced the ignition switch on my Case VAC at least 5 times in less then 4 years so I gave up even though I prefer to have them instead of a hot wire
