    Clean the rim and then either tape it up or as I do I use truck bed liner spray.

    The one wire alternators are modified Delco 10SI alternators and Delco didn't make them that way. Most auto parts store carry them but they cost 3 times more then the common 10SI

    8n bellhousing area

    Bendex is the starter drive and common for parts of it being in there as for the oil it can come from either the transmission seal or the rear main engine seal or both. The bell housing has a hole in it at the bottom to drain that oil out and if clogged that happens

    Oil is there because the drain hole is clogged up. That hole should have a cotter pin in it to help keep it open so oil can drip out. The parts are likely to be bendex parts

    Water pump kit

    Every time I have tried to rebuild a water pump the casting broke so then I didn't have a core so buying a rebuilt water pump cost more.

    Good chance you have some carbon build up which makes hot spots so when you shut it down the engine spins over a bit and that in turn pulls gas into the engine and the hot spots cause the gas to burn so it trys to keep running. I'd put 1 qt. of ATF into 3gal of gas and run it

    Ford Jubilee is there a Starting point for the idle screw on carb

    #1 is the main jet adjustment and #2 idle. Set the idle at 1.5 turns out from bottom and from there it is a pretty much set it and leave it. #1 set at about 2.5 out from bottom and adjust from there for good power and no black smoke

    What to expect from a tractor that’s been sitting for 4 to 5 years

    First thing I would do to it is fill all 4 cylinders with ATF and pull it home that way. That way the ATF can free up sticking rings and valves etc.
