MF 1030 Lift Arm Shaft Replacement
Thanks Jim. I do have a set of manuals for the tractor and found a replacement shaft and arm at Wenger's in PA. In looking at the shaft, the center section has a larger diameter than the ends so my fear is it can't get past any seals . Suspect you are correct, time to remove the whole...- OldAmerican

Anyone out there have experience replacing the splined shaft that the lift arms for the 3-point mount on? Recently bought the tractor and prior owner had attempted to weld a broken lift arm back onto the shaft. Needless to say, all that did is ruined the shaft.
