    Oliver/Fiat 1365 Steering Issue

to adjust the steering cylinder on a 1365 power steering set up, first loosen the circular clamp on the end of the shiney cylinder ram, then turn that part one way or the other, I don't remember which way and that will balance the action of the cylinder to steer either way. After adjusting...

    loaded tires

I extracted calcium mixture from tires by inflating them with the valve on top, then turning the valve to the bottom and installing a hose onto the valve stem. The pressure blew out quite a bit and then repeat the process. My dad filled tires with a funnel and hose. it was very slow

    1100 MF Engine Knock

at my employer, a m f dealer we had a 285 that had a knock and could find nothing wrong. we even ran it with the pan off by oiling it thru the oil rifle with a pressure can. We finally found the crankshaft was broken. It ran good, didn't smoke but had an unusual knock.

    White/Iseki 2-65 4x4 maintenance

White 2-65 is an Iseki tractor produced in japan. Has an isuzu {?} engine that is nearly impossible to wear out. The steering on a 4x4 can be very expensive to repair, or was 20 years ago when my employer had one to repair. For parts try Blue Ridge Diesel at 540-759-7417

    Picking corn

I still run a 2 row mounted picker/sheller on an Ih 656 diesel. I have a shucking bed for it, but use a one row pull type picker because the units are hard to change. If i had a concrete pad, maybe not so bad. I only do small acreage

    MF 4243

I seem to remember that the sensor for the tach on the 4243 is on the flywheel, and clutch dust gets on it periodically and it simply needs cleaning to work again. I do not remember where exactly it is, but if it reads off the flywheel such could happen.
