    1800 gemmer unit fix

Dave, My apologies for taking away from your thread. But, I have the same problem out of bottom of mine. I replaced the seal but I think it unseated. I may try a new one again. If you decide to part with your unit, let me know. I may try some experimentation with the two units to figure out...

Oliver 1800 rebuilt injection diesel pump hunts

Good morning, I have a question. I have an Oliver 1800 A series diesel with a newly rebuilt injection pump. The tractor starts and runs well. However, it seems to hunt at all speeds and will not settle down. If I throttle up to 1300 RPM, the motor will wander between 1000 and 1300. I...

1960 Oliver 1800 A with new rebuild on injection pump questi

Cas, I will give it another shot. I have done this before and maybe I am just being impatient and not giving enough time to get the fuel up. But, I have no fuel to the start of the lines yet. That is with the engine cranking as well. Sorry I omitted that. I will try again. My primer is...

1960 Oliver 1800 A with new rebuild on injection pump questi

Mr. S., You are once again correct. I forgot to put down I have cranked it as well and still can not get the fuel to the start of the injector lines. Very puzzled. I will try again. It just feels like the priming plunger seal is not good enough so I am not getting a good prime so every...

1960 Oliver 1800 A with new rebuild on injection pump questi

I put on the new pump and primed the secondary filter with the hand pump. Fuel flows fine out of the top of the secondary filter. The fuel flows out of the timing sight window. However, I cannot seem to get fuel to the banjo fittings and to the fuel lines. I think it may the hand primer...

    Oliver 520 or 620 baler

Mr. S, I tried a few dealers and they said they did not have any. So, I figured would try here so I could get some tine clips used but wanted new ones. I would not have wasted the time of any of "the finest gentlemen in farm machinery" on the site because I know the value of the information...

    IHC implement identifying help needed

Haas, That is that I thought too. If I can ever get the pictures to load, it will help. But your description seems close. The HM 150 disc plow is the one you described pretty well. I have only seen it in books. If we can't use it, maybe someone else can.

    IHC implement identifying help needed

Guys, Need your help. My 12 year old son has a 1949 Farmall H with a bracket on the front of the steering post at the bolt on point above the tires. There is also a cradle below the belly. It looks to be a lister or plow attachment point. I guessed it to be an HM-150 plow but I only have...
