    Plow ID

Is the attached photo of a 4240 or a 4340? The tag is missing and I'm not sure how to tell. Thanks a bunch! [/img]

    Oliver tedder

From what I can find Fahr built them. Should be the same as a Kh-4 and a Kh-6. I have never seen a green one, and has been many years since Ive seen an operating orange one. Someplace I have some literature on it. Would be cool to find an old one and paint it green.

    1750 Production Numbers

Someone can answer more correctly than I, but I have never seen a factory LP 1750. There was one on Proxibid recently, but it was a conversion.

how much to pay for 1650 gas?

I have a really nice 69 1650 gas that I would sell. Just rebuilt ignition and carb. 3 speed hydraulshift, runs out nice, tires good +, better than alot of the ones on CL right now. 5000

    Reliability of 1650 and 1750

I agree. As much as I like 1850's, I like my '69 1650 better. Its just one of those tractors you get attached to. At one point in its life its probably done everything that can be done on a dairy farm, including run a JD 2 row chopper. (maybe a little too much for it). My 16 is one of those...

    535 combine

10-4. Thanks for the insight. A lot of 525's still here in NY. Cant find any of the others though. Seems like growers went from 525 to 7300 to 8600 or so. My 545 came from Illinois.

    535 combine

According to CH Wendel's book they were. I've got this crazy idea to keep all my machinery the same vintage as my tractors (50 series). That's why I hadn't considered a 7300 yet. Probably a foolish reason. Thanks for the heads up on the auction.

    535 combine

Does anyone know of a 535 that might be for sale? I would like it to have a 13 or 14 foot header. I have a 545 with a 4 row narrow and I would like to have the 535 to go along with it. Would really like a 5555 but they are like hens teeth. Put an ad in the classifieds, but no answer. Any...

    1850 (picture)

He has. Its pretty hard to completely get his stamp of approval! He spent about 1 hour inspecting it, I think it passed. He actually used it on his farm before we painted it. It has a fuel system off of my pulling tractor before I went to a Roosa pump. Its about 160 on the dyno. He was...

    1850 (picture)

I thought this picture came out really cool. This is a 1968 1850 that hailed from Vermont originally. I bought it from the original owner 5 years ago, we finished restoring it this fall. Kudos to my father for the paint job. I have an Oliver sunroof to put on it when the weather gets nicer...

    Oliver s in the snow!

Hes still trying to go strong- although I think age catches up with all of us at some point. Im surprised you didnt see one, there are Whites and Olivers and MMs all over the place there. The "twin stack" 1655 is living the easy life now, pulling wagons.

    Oliver s in the snow!

So up until this year I had an all weather storage building as well. Not anymore. Broke down and built something. Probably not enough space either. We are 2 hours east of Buffalo NY.
