    Good to know. Mine is just 540 right now. Would like to be able to run 1000 (with an external 540 adapter) at slow rpm. For the usual reason. Light work stuff. It's a potential future project kinda thing. I assume there is a bit of open heart surgery involved?

    Well, that is some good news. Not a fan of noise. What upgrades are involved? This engine smokes a bit of blue. I see a major kit listed at $1200ish. No plans at the moment, cause life is happening.
