J.D 3rd. rear scv thread size

that would work fine too. i have zero experience with that type of restrictor. Read a couple of reviews and the particular one that this dude used did not work well. Do you have a source or brand for them?

J.D 3rd. rear scv thread size

This afternoon i took off the J.D. quick connector then the male x male connector that attaches the quick connect to the actual electronic valve body. Looking in to the valve body, i was thinking the exact same thing. "bolt on hooks" has several of these adapters, all say they have a .030 hole...

J.D 3rd. rear scv thread size

That would most likely work - where do you get the resistors? On the 3rd. electronic scv, the fitting between the valve body and the quick connect looks like it is a male x male O.R.B (O-ring boss) type fitting 3/8" in diameter.

J.D 3rd. rear scv thread size

hello- put in a 3rd. electronic scv on the rear of the tractor for esentially controlling the hydraulic top link. The flow of the hydraulics is way to high, so i found a company callled " bolt on hooks" that has restrictors. Problem? no idea what the thread size is. The J.D. product kit is...

1991 King Kutter 6' Spindle Bearing replacement

No, these are actually orginal. Talked to a guy at brooks ag that was familiar with them. Said the spindles changed sometime toward 2020. I thought of the same thing you mentioned above. I had the rebuild bearings, so wondered if i could just take out the races and use the bearings in their...

1991 King Kutter 6' Spindle Bearing replacement

I'm pretty good at sourcing parts, but this time i'm stumped. Bought a 91' king kutter finish mower in great shape. One spindle is making noise, so decided to order a rebuild kit for it. While waiting for the parts, i took out the spindle and disssasembled. Parts get here. Surprise! The new...

Marvel Schebler 670 on D14 won't stop overflowing.

Jamie : thanks for the tips. I did re-adjust the floats again. Now at a place where maybe i get a drip , once per day. i am completely finished with the re-build, so i have to do some other stuff. i think i'll come back to this and make a minor adjustment to the floats and i think that will be...

Thanks. It was worth all the work. Pretty familiar with this model now. Glad to help if i can. Also want to thank Doc Allison - gave me a couple of tips along the way that really helped! rasman57 - one question for you. Do you pull a plow with any of your 14's? I got a smoking deal on a...

    D14 steering control valve leak

Well, some good news. Finished re-installing the high pressure power steering line . Rear cap back in on the steering ram. Held my breath and started it up. No leaks. Drove it around the field for about 30 minutes. No leaks. So, with that, this d14 is finished and in really good condition...

    D14 steering control valve leak

Glad to help - one other "remember" before you start this. The seal i'm pointing out is inside of the valve i'm holding. There is also another, bigger one on the outside of the valve. Don't forget to have that oring too so it can be replaced. Good luck, let me know if you need anything else.

    D14 steering control valve leak

Ok - finally much progress. Some guy had a steering control valve off of a 65' d15 for sale on ebay. i bought it before tearing the front end down again. Quick dissasembly of the ebay part to replace the seals, and painted the body. Tore the front end down again, and pulled the old steering...

Marvel Schebler 670 on D14 won't stop overflowing.

Well, no more overflow. Two things that could have done this, (and probably both) . I re-adjusted the float level close to but not up to 5/16. At the same time, i did feel that "damp" feeling at the gas line inlet fitting (i used two to connect to the actual fuel line). One was a compression...

Marvel Schebler 670 on D14 won't stop overflowing.

One of the efforts i tried was to jump to a 9/32, but i still had an overflow problem. At 5/16's your engine ran fine? Think i'll try that to see what happens.

Marvel Schebler 670 on D14 won't stop overflowing.

ahhh,,, my same thought. Started examining the bowl ,and valley to the needle valve inlet last night. Didn't get this done, got called in by the mrs. for chili and cornbread. Back to shop this morning. If i can't see a visual crack thinking i'll plug the float needle , invert it and fill the...
