MF 65 Rear tire need12.4-32 tube recommendation.

Hey All, I need a new tube for a 12.4-32 (320/85R32 tube) tire and having a dickens of a time finding one here in the US. Can find 9.5-32, which I fear is too narrow to last, or a 16.9-18.4 30 which the tire shop recommends, but which also creases and fails over time. Anyone else have a 12.4-32...

Massey Ferguson 65 Range Selector Stuck in S

You might be able to bump it through the trans lube fill hole. When my gear shifter gets stuck, that how I access it.

    Re: MF 65 steering

If you're still looking for an answer, it's drop "gooseneck" steering arms out at the spindles. Do a search, and you'll find the part numbers. Then start combing ebay and the boneyards.

    NH469HaybinePlugging-Help,Please

Might want to check that your bottom roller bearings aren't worn and loose. My 469 was wrapping up and plugging pretty regular between the bottom roller and the torsion bar when I discovered a loose bearing. After replacement, hasn't plugged since. Just something to check.

    sickle haybine vs discbine

A friend loaned me his discbine once on one of those rare occasions when my 469 was down for repair. Biggest plus was I could cut as fast as I could stay in the tractor seat. But would I want to part with the $ for a smaller acreage? Not a chance. Now, if I had a couple hundred acres or more...

New Holland Rollabar Rake - Speed vs Quality

Make pretty good time with mine, too fast and tend to bend tines, so I find going fast I lose that time and more fixin' stuff. You can adjust for "fluffy" by changing the tilt of the rake. Waiting for a new belt to be delivered sure slows you down though!

    New MF 65

I have a 58 MK1 English. The data plate is riveted to the dash panel as below. Mine has only four guages, ammeter, engine temp, oil pressure and tach. No fuel guage. One easy tell if it's a UK is to look at the steering linkage. If the drag link is attached to the pitman arm with a gooseneck...

MF 65 PTO drive snap ring

Just for future reference, the snap ring isn't an off the shelf item from NAPA or a bearing house. The MF part number is 1952222M1. $5.25 with tax.

Removal of pipe/bar in New Holland baler feeder?

I think your describing the stationary bar that's in the top of the chamber of the feeder? My 68 hasn't had it in there for 20 years, haven't had a problem. Sounds like Red is thinking the tine bar is hitting something. If that's the case, yeah, you've got some work to do. But if it's just the...

MF 65 PTO drive snap ring

Started losing trans lube through the weep hole big time, so bit the bullet, split the tractor and changed the output and PTO output shaft seals. The Front PTO drive snap ring got a little boogered and bent up pulling it out, so I'd like to put in an new one, but find a part number. The output...

    MF65 update

This is actually a recommended procedure in older Cat diesels per the maintenance manual for engines that had overheated too often or had idled too long. Remove the air cleaner, start and warm the engine up, and set the rpm to 1800-2000 or so. Take a tablespoonful of Bon Ami, or Barkeepers...

    MF65 update

Smoke just might clear up with a couple hours hard running. If not, you could try the old Bon Ami ring job in a can.

    Top radiator hose

Can't be of any specific help, dont know the machine. But If you can get it started, how about a little liquid dishsoap to lubricate the inside of the hose and give 'er a good push?

    469 haybine question

Are you using the right grade bolt? Pretty sure it's grade 8 fine thread. Other thing you might check is that when you tighten up the nut ( about 75 ft lbs) the arm should be in the center of its travel, so the rubber in the bushing stretches equally both ways as the arm travels back and forth...

    New Holland special tool?

No special tool, just a 5/16" hex key. One you can get for a 3/8" drive ratchet or breaker bar is better. You might have to apply a little heat, as those bolts can be stuck in there pretty good, or high strength threadlocker may be applied as well. I have had to tack weld a nut in place to...
