    1070 PTO will not shut off.

    Our 1070 PTO when disengaged keeps spinning slowly. to fully stop it I have to shut the tractor off. once restarted the PTO stays off until I re-engage it, but to fully shut it off again requires shutting off the tractor again. Is this a clutch pack issue or the Hydraulic control valve...

    from what I know about build cards for supers to 55 series Oliver's is that Engine Serial Numbers were written by hand on the back of the IBM Punch Card. So even if they had a cards sorter it can not because it had written. I would require a person to spend time had indexing each card searching...

    they are both 4240's with the add on 3rd bottom. A 4340 has 3 main beams that run the length of the plow. Like wise a 4th bottom can me added in the same manor to a 4340

    I would guess its going to do 75% farming. If I'm reading correctly the 1550,1555, and 2-62 is the progression. Do all three share the same block casting? If so, I could just put a 2-62 engine in it and have 10 more hp. Or have I overlooked something?

    The block is std bore at the moment, I have a set of .045 over JD Cast or unknown Aluminum. What type of modifications to the head are you meaning.

    Do or did they make 11 or 12 by 36" pressed steel rims. I'm looking as an option to swap out on my 37 JD A or should I skip that and go to 38" rims?
