OT: How do other conceal carry permit holders feel??

I am a supporter of the right to carry arms, but, I am also a supporter of strong personal property rights. If a company or an individual does not want you carrying a gun on their property you should either respect that choice and go in unarmed or you should not go in at all. I absolutely have a...

    TE 20 12v wiring diagram

If you go with the 12 volt coil and ditch the 6v it should be pretty straight forward. I just rewired mine when I replaced the generator with an alternator, I replace every wire on the machine and added a couple of things. I wish I were a better artist I would draw it up for you (even though I...

    TE 20 12v wiring diagram

If it is a 12 volt conversion *and* has a 6 volt coil the resistor should be between switch and the coil or the battery and the coil. I suppose it won't damage anything, but I am not a big fan of jumping things like this, I prefer to use a meter. Were it me I would verify spark. It there is...

    Carb Adjustment on TO-20/30??

The one toward the front is the main jet (and is also larger), the idle air is the one tilting toward the right, at least if I understand your description of the locations.

TO-30 Front Axel hits Lower Rad Hose

I imagine if you jack the tractor up so that the front axle moves freely you could tell whether their were play in the center beam bushing/pin. Hopefully someone else with more experience will chime in.

TO-30 Front Axel hits Lower Rad Hose

I have only completed this repair once, so I am sure there are others here that can answer better than I can. Mine was obviously broken, I did not have to measure anything.

TO-30 Front Axel hits Lower Rad Hose

Not too hard, no. It required a trip to the machine shop for me as I had to get the center beamed drilled out to fit the newer sized bushing, and I also had to replace the axle support because the pin had turned what should be a round hole into an oval, but it was not very technically...

Dirt, shavings and water from hydraulic system

I just got the Sparex seal in the mail today, it looks much more like the proper part designed for the application. Not just a wheel seal that happens to fit. It has the same hard outer service as the original seal which I would assume would do a much better job of keeping things from getting...

Dirt, shavings and water from hydraulic system

I believe I found the correct seal, and oddly it was at a place that is only 60 miles from me. They don't have any weekend hours so I will have to have it shipped, but it is nice to know there is a place close by that carries some parts for the tractor. The guy pulled the seal for me and...

Dirt, shavings and water from hydraulic system

Any idea where I might find the correct seal? It appears, at least in looking at the picture, that the seal sold on this site is the same seal I already have.

TO30 Plate behind pivot pin broken

It is pretty simple to get it apart, not a bad job at all. I had to replace my support as well because the pin had rubbed the rear support hole into an oval instead of a square. Good luck with yours.

Dirt, shavings and water from hydraulic system

Thanks, John. I failed to warm up the fluid before I removed it, I guess I should have asked ahead of time. Flushing oil seems to be pretty expensive, I will have to think about what I need to do. Right now I am trying to figure out why the PTO shaft seal I have is so much smaller (not as...

Dirt, shavings and water from hydraulic system

I did my best to find an answer to this by searching, but I failed. I started to replace my PTO shaft seal this morning, and the first step was pulling the three drain plugs. The fluid that came out of the plug under the trans looked pretty good. I would guess I got about a cup of water out of...

TO30 Plate behind pivot pin broken

The job is finished and everything went together fine. Now on to the next problem. Thanks everyone for the help, I really appreciate it.
