    COCKSHUTT parted company with ALLIS CHALMERS as an engine supplier in 1958.... so there were never any G Series engines installed in NEW COCKSHUTT Tractors

    570 cockshutt oil filter

    ALL COCKSHUTT 570/570D/570SUPER D TRACTORS use the same TALL oil cartridge inside a can. The gas engine uses a different location, can, and mount bracket than the diesel tractors on the same side of the engine. Later Hercules engines used a SPIN-ON oil filter. Phil Heisey 215-256-8651

    Remove the clutch cover and look and see if your clutch has oil on it. Your front main trans. seal COCKSHUTT 550 SEAL PART NUMBER Z-540 MAY be leaking trans. 80W90 oil onto your clutch. We have the parts on stock! Phil Heisey 215-256-8651
