Ford 4000, Radiator Hose "block heater"... and in
So, my Ford 4000 has a coolant leak, probably a pinhole in a sleeve. I also have a chinese diesel tractor (Jinma) that did the same thing and needed a rebuild a couple years ago. My father-in-law also had an Oliver 1755 that had a similar issue. Maybe I'm making correlation where there...- lastcowboy32

Key switch and Ignition Transmission Interlock Plunger?
Thank you for your quick answer, trying to get this old girl to fire today after many years sitting and a year of cleaning, painting and rebuilding. Being a perfectionist the starter / plunger issue I created in my own mind was bugging me.- papapauls8n

Key switch and Ignition Transmission Interlock Plunger?
Is it normal for a 1950 Ford 8n to still turn over even with the key switch off? If you push the ignition plunger the starter still turns the engine over even if key is off.Upper pole of junction block is not energized when key off so no power to coil but starter still turns engine over.
