    Wow, what a bunch of ungrateful jerks. If you don't like how it's being done, why don't you climb up there and take the reins yourself? Or better yet, volunteer for your local fire department so you can let them know everything they do is wrong. Walk a day in their shoes, or shut up.

    Mud, You are correct. If you have previous military experience, you do not need to take a class. Same with law enforcement experience. You do have to provide documentation of either of those, and still have to apply and wait for the permit to arrive.

    The Utah permit isn't good if you're a Wisconsin resident. If you're from out of state and have a CCW permit from out of state, you can carry legally. But if you're a Wisconsin resident, you can't legally carry concealed until you have the Wisconsin permit.

    Polarizing the generator didn't help. So to review, I didn't disconnect the battery when I rewired the first time. I know I saw a spark when I was hooking up the wires the first time...I must have touched it to something it wasn't supposed to touch. I have since replaced the fuse and rewired...

    I was able to rewire the lights with 12 ga wire, replace the fuse, and check the electrical system with a test light. Everything is working, except.... I don't get a positive charge on the ammeter. When the lights are on, regardless if the tractor is running or not, I get a negative reading...

    I think one of the biggest mistakes people make with generators is that they don't run them regularly. Your generator's ability to make electricity will be severely compromised if you don't run it about once a month for 30 minutes or so, with a load on it. Owner's manuals always specify this...

    Just bought a 2011 Toyota Senna minivan. The vehicle uses synthetic 0W-20 oil and the recommended oil change interval is 10,000 miles.
