    Wain-Roy backhoe problem

    I have a 1963 wain Roy backhoe with a hydrostatic transmission that stops after a few minutes or doesn't move at all. All the hydraulics work fine. Any advise on how to diagnose this problem?

    Not sure where to find the filter but I'm going out to look .I can't see any lines going to or coming from the transmission. Is it possible that the switching mechanism for forward and reverse is driven by the hydrolic system? I'm thinking if the valve body is the issue the problem is beyond...
