    Tractor loader

We do have a couple 158 loaders and your right they do work well. When I say reach I'm not talking about height just when I stack bales I don't want the front of the tractor to be running into the bales on the ground. I think 12-13 foot should be plenty. I was just wondering about the...

    Tractor loader

Looking to buy a loader for a 806 international. It will mainly be used for moving and stacking round bales in a barn and feeding in the winter. We currently have a koyker allied and great bend aftermarket loaders. All are good loaders although the allied doesn?t seem to have enough reach...

    Drum mowers

Thanks for the info. I did some more research and it appears kuhn makes bigger pz brands but when you go to the kuhn north America website they only have the 170 option. I would like the pz320 as tractor hp requirement won't be a problem. I don't see why these drum mowers aren't more...

    Drum mowers

Ok we had a couple old pz cutters that we replaced with a kuhn disc mower. We like the kuhn but it doesn't do good around gopher holes and aunt mounds where as the drum mowers went through them. I would like to get another drum to have for those fields. So what companies still make them I...

    7130 case

How much does it cost to rebuild the transmission on these tractors? I will be using it for moldboard plowing and root plowing. Really no PTO work unless it's absolutely necessary. The guy said the pump on the tractor hasn't been messed with.

    7130 case

But is it a good transmission? Like I said I don't know much about these tractors. Iv been around the deere powershift and they are dam near bulletproof to about 10k hours. My cousins run a case ih similar to this one and have around 14k hours on it only thing done to it was replace the...

    7130 case

Found a case 7130 couple hours away from me for sale. The guy said he doesn?t really want to sell it but if he gets the right price he will let it go. I?m not really familiar with case tractors but I do know the cummins engine fairly well. The tractor has around 7000 ?original hours? according...

John deere RO 40 moldboard plow

No this is a John Deere RO40-04. The only thing I could come up with was that it's a roll over plow for a 40 series deere tractor with 4 bottoms but that's just my thinking. It was built sometime in the 70s.

John deere RO 40 moldboard plow

None of the ones on Ebay will work. They are similar but all too small. I emailed plowrox and sent them some pictures of my plow but still waiting to hear back. I also contacted the plow guy who is familiar with John deere plows but he was unable to help so far. He said I could change out the...

John deere RO 40 moldboard plow

I have a John deere RO 40 moldboard plow I'm needing shears for. Deere quit making them and I can't find any aftermarket parts for it. Deere part number was AA 10139. Would like any information I can find about this plow or if its possible to just switch to a new style bottom.

    Modern ag shredders

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but it's about the modern ag galvanised shredders. I been looking around for reviews on them but can't seem to find any. We have 2 made by them one 15' purchased in 2012 and one 20' purchased in 2014. The 15' seems to be built pretty well we...

    Tire to rim sizes

Well once they sell it they don't care about that. It becomes your problem then.

    Gasoline in the oil?

i was told this is common on smaller engines especially like on air compressors on the back of trucks. all the shaking and vibrating when going down the road will cause it to leak into the combustion chamber then get past the rings ending up in the crankcase. As far as the hydro lock what do you...

    Tire to rim sizes

I would have to go with the tire manufacturer because they should know what their tires are capable of. But in reality I would go with whatever looks better to me. I think most of the time they put the recommended rim width so the tire wears more even and you get the most life out of it.

    Tractor hours

We have a 2630 John Deere has 24k on it had first engine overhaul about 2k hours ago. But transmission and pto have been gone through a couple times. It doesn't get used much anymore tho. Cousin has a case magnum with around 16k haven't touched it except exhaust manifold. He said it's getting...
