    TO35 Dual Clutch Problem

I know this may seem like the obvious but , at what RPM is your tractor at when you try to engage pto shaft? I know I have one here that is very stubborn to go in unless rpm?s are brought rite down to idle which is 450rpm on that tractor. Anything above 600rpm and it is enough grinding to where...

Looking for driving tips before truck driver training

Philip I am going to spare you the lecture as you will undoubtedly receive a lot of free driving advice and I will leave you with this... Once you do get behind the wheel and you find yourself pounding the pavement and seeing the country which will inevitably take you to the odd truck stop...

    spark plug

Switched to the ngk. AB-6 (part #2910) and have never looked back , with respect to heat ranges ngk claims 6 to be a ?Hot? plug but not the hottest... their numbers go lower as the heat rises IE: a xx-3 would be hotter than a xx-4 etc. Out of curiosity I have tried to locate an ngk plug that...

    My turn to quit tobacco

Long time (over 20 yrs) smoker here.. Quit just over one year ago now , oddly enough it wasn?t as difficult as I?d anticipated but having said that I was READY to be done with the habit. I still have the occasional urge to have a cigarette but I quickly remember the ball and chain it was in my...

    Engine stalling

Congrats on the find. Definitely want to inspect the sediment bowl... Sounds as though the fuel tank may be fouled. Try the old filling a pint jar thing by way of the carb bowl drain. See how long that takes. Good luck , let us know what ya find.

    Ford 8n pulling engine

With respect to a cam grinder , I highly recommend these guys : http://www.bulletcams.com/Tractors/index.html One thing to remember when modifying an engine for antique pullers.. If you make more power than you?re supposed to for that tractor you may be bumped to a different class.. One...

IH 454 backfiring though the carburator.

What you are describing is something that is common when a lobe starts to go flat on the cam... If it?s getting a good flow of fuel and the timing is good I would remove valve cover and take a look what the rockers are doing while the engine is being rolled over.. IE: are all the rockers moving...

    Tea20 throttle lever installation

Remove cotter pin , allow spring to slide where it wants... then slide shaft up and into position... once it?s in the guides THEN you can slide spring back up and install cotter key. Otherwise the spring goes into full coil bind before you have enough room to get the shaft high enough to slide...

    add drawbar hitch?

almost looks as though the pulley is large enough that it would obstruct a straight bar that mounted off the bottom plate... perhaps a bar that has an S bend and mounted to a plate that would bolt to your existing plate that the mower uses?

    Continental engine

Up north here I get continental parts from these gents. Good luck. In the event they have nothing or know of none around try a fulls service welding supplier as Lincoln used both the 4 and 6 cyl Continental in their welders. Untitled URL Link

    Z-134 =1...Dodge 5.7 hemi =0

Thanks guys ... Is that to do with the fuel efficient mode that some of the hemis have? This one doesn?t have that on it.. I normally don?t run the 15w-40w shell rotella stuff in her pickup but this summer it?s what I had an abundance of so I went with it thinking it?d be due for a change by...

    Z-134 =1...Dodge 5.7 hemi =0

Had to go out and start the wife?s pickup this morning as well as get the old TO-35 fired up to feed horses. The dodge needed the recirculating heater plugged in for a couple hours but the old Z-134 fired rite up once the choke was pulled lol. The temp isn?t too terrible but facing into the...
