    What do you mean ring out winding ? I supplied 240V to the motor. I get a hum and that's it. I assume a start capacitor to get it to run? The plate shows W in 65. and capactitor 1.5 Micro Farads. Do not know what w in means. Guess i need a 1.5 Micro Cap.

    Cheers Bob. Yep LHS NOT the RHS. I know you can get to one of the castalled nuts thru the pto shaft. I believe it trick and tight but can you get to both nuts, from memory think you can only get to one. IF they need replacing probably best to pull the trumpet. Think that would be less...
