    851 auto tie. New Holland

Thanks Destroked 450: That will be an important question when I meet the seller next week. Does he have the manual and then the learning will begin. You are quite correct on the pencil part. My bale count for any year will be quite low but having a round baler will simplify what I do. Both...

    851 auto tie. New Holland

Thanks Destroked 450: Your rusty info is better than my no info. Any way to trigger the auto tie if I finish with baling with a partial bale? Thanks DanielW: You do provide the other side of good or bad.

    851 auto tie. New Holland

Thanks Destroked 450: So basically I just need to learn how to use the baler and when to stop feeding the baler so it can tie the bale. Any issues with the auto tie I should pay attention to?

    851 auto tie. New Holland

Hi: I will be looking at a 851 baler. It is listed as an auto tie baler. I am not familiar with how this works. Will there be some controller to initiate the auto tie? What does my tractor need to work with the auto tie? Just need help to know what I have to check. Thanks

    Rotary Cleaner Screens

Hi: Thanks Fritz. I went to the local hardware store and found the hardware cloth you referred to. They carry 2 sizes 2x2 and 4x4 mesh. This is a thin wire size compared to what is on the cleaner. For the price I decided to try the 4x4 roll and see if I can adapt it to work. If nothing else it...

    Rotary Cleaner Screens

Hi: The 4x4 mesh is number of openings per linear inch. I currently have a 2x2 mesh which means any object up to half an inch will fall thru. So I know I need more openings it is just what is the best number.

    JD 7720 Runaway

Hi Dieseltech: Thank you for the help. I hope you don’t mine some dumb questions as I learn more about diesels. How does a stuck rack allow the combine to even start? How does a stuck rack allow the combine to run at full rpm? This is just to expand my knowledge.

    JD 7720 Runaway

Hi used red MN. I was so hopping the pump would be on the outside. Oh well, is there an access panel in the grain tank? Or, is there a picture to show me what the mounted motor looks like? I am going to need a warm sunny day to pursue this work or remember how to work with frozen fingers.

    JD 7720 Runaway

Hi Thanks for all the responses. I should mention that I have not yet seen the combine and hope to do so soon. The weather is not conducive to do outside work but I hope that next week will be better. The cable would be my first test to see if it is free to move and then to see if the pump...

    JD 7720 Runaway

Hi: I am looking at a 7720 combine. Overall in good condition except the motor will run at full rpm and the kill switch does not work. Is this an injection pump issue or a cable issue stuck at full throttle? The combine has not been used for several years. I am told the unit has been started...
