    1550 Hydraulic Pump

After spending some time with the image provided by scootergmc I could see similarities with our 1750 tractor. I have a IT shop manual for the 17, 18, 1950 tractors and found that image. We also have a 1650 tractor as a potential parts tractor. How interchangeable are the pumps on these tractors?

    1550 Hydraulic Pump

I can no longer access the online parts book and have not figured out why. No service manual.

    1550 Hydraulic Pump

Looking at your image I can say partly. If I have the correct numbers item 30 is present to the left side of the seat. In front and slightly to the right of item 30 is the valve controls for the 2 remotes. Slightly more forward to the left is the fill and dip stick. The id plate is somewhat...

    1550 Hydraulic Pump

I found these pictures on the net. Unit does not have a loader but is virtually the same as mine.

    1550 Hydraulic Pump

Nothing like that visible on the back. All I see is the hydraulic connectors. Looking under the seat is the arms connected to the valves. Do I have to take the panel off to see these adjusters?

    1550 Hydraulic Pump

I am not familiar with depth-stop How would I know if the tractor had it? Yes, the arms to control the remotes go under the seat. Other than the leaver for the PTO there are no others. The panels on the tractor say 1550. I will see if I can get someone to get some pictures for me. I cannot...

    1550 Hydraulic Pump

The loader on this tractor is an add on by some previous owner. Take the loader and pluming off and you have a tractor with 2 remote.

    1550 Hydraulic Pump

Hi scootergmc: Loader is plumb through remotes. Previous owner has hydraulic valve to switch bucket between remote and loader, Loader lift always available. No rockshaft no 3 point arms no control for 3 point. No anything I can see for 3 point. Plain tractor with 2 remotes only.

    1550 Hydraulic Pump

Hi scootergmc: Yes no 3 point. Tractor has 2 remotes and no indication of ever having a 3 point. Hi Mike(NEOhio) I have not set up a way to test the pump values. Based on other loaders I have used this tractor has a very hard time lifting the 4x4 bale.

    1550 Hydraulic Pump

Hi: Ran some tests on the loader (no 3 point on tractor) and loading a 4x4 bale requires plus 1500 rpm to pickup the bale. Once loaded it does hold the bale up. Would the loader hold the bale up if the relief valve was partially open? I need to make a tester to check the pressure. The tractor...

    1550 Hydraulic Pump

To use the remotes we need to rev the motor to at least 1200 rpm. Fluid levels are up. I think this means the pump is weak and needs rebuild. What is involved in rebuilding the pump?

    IH230

Hi used red MN: Well done. That is what I was looking for. The parts break down gives me a better idea of what I am trying to fix. Item 4 is what is broken. Specifically the support end of the roller. I can see now that I am on the wrong track. Attached is a picture of the roller. The area...

    IH230

Hi used red MN: Sorry I am not being clear. It is a belt pulley that is connected to the roller which drive the table apron to bring the cut material to the center to form a wind row. On the IH230 the pulley is connected to a plate which has a pin for the bearing. The bearing is in the roller...

    IH230

Hi: I am fixing the main roller on this windrower/swather. I have the roller off the machine and now need to separate it from the drive pulley. Is this just a press fit? That is how do I get the bearing out of the roller to replace it? Thanks
