    Small Engine question

    I would get a new magnatron coil, set it with a business card, like other post have said & be done with it. If it has points this will do away with them.Coils will go bad on B&S, although not very often.I don't think I would try turning the flywheel down.

    plumbing/well question

    My experince with sand in the water means you have a hole rusted through the casing,which means a quick fix will only prolong having to pull the casing or drill a new well.

    M Carb Flooding

    Could be trash under needle valve.My "SM" doing same thing when I bought it,rebuilt the carb & found the float was bent & hanging up on side of the bowl.Put a new float in & fixed the problem.
