    You might also try a different brand of twine.Had the same problem twine thicknesses are different.

    If yours is like the one on my 65 there are 2 small gears inside one has a keyway the other has a shear pin. On mine the shear pin broke. Hopefully thats the problem.

    Correct Plow for 65 Diesel

    When I bought my MF 65 diesel back in 1965 I also got a 3pt hitch 4x16. Our farm in upstate NY had alot of rock and hardpan. The ole girl plowed alot of ground with no problems.

    Which MF plow should be behind my tractor?

    I don't know what the plow model num was but when I bought my 65 diesel it came with a 16 inch 4 bottom 3pt hitch plow. We lived in upstate NY and our land was real rocky and had alot of hardpan. It pulled them with no problem, we would have to lock the rear wheels some times when we hit a wet spot.

    my 65 manual says to fill through the pipe plug hole with transmission oil until it runs out of hole.
