    IH Hydro 100

    I have a 966 hydro (earlier version of Hydro 100) used for those exact uses. I have no problems with heating. I did have the hydro inut shaft break but I believe the Hydro 100 has the larger shaft. I've been very happy with it.

    You can drain the oil in the case and remove a plate on the bottom of the case to access the servo. I think you will also need to remove the side cover as well. The Hydro service manual in the link I provided, tells how to remove the the servo"s. You shouldn't have to completely remove the pump...

    I had something similar happpen when I replaced the damper plate and input shafton my 966 hydro. In my case the variable orfice plug had fallen out of the pump servo. If you have the IHC Hydro Service Manual it describes how to fix it. If you don"t have the maunal you can find it at the link...
