If and hopefully never there is a reason that your insurance company is involved....who do you think is going to be blamed... because breakers did not match the panel brand???? go with the new panel/matching breakers, save the worry/time and expense down the road. -

just a question on your problem that might give a clearer idea of what is happening: when you turn the key to start ? the starter engages and the engine rolls, for a second? and stops rolling? At that time is there a growling/battery strain coming from the unit? does the starter just dis engage... -

Not a car/truck/tractor engine...I bought a new honda 13hp engine from a dealer, when hondas were hondas, that was "returned" it would run but not speed up, produce usable power. price was right of course. checked the regular stuff and reasons, and found the valve rockers were moving VERY...- phil25

Now i have good info to pass on, and a continuing mystery of how did the guys back then form a dept in 62, and get a 64 to 66 truck, funds were not exactly in the back pockets those days...however its listed as having 36,000 miles? its in a junker yard 30 miles away, so the dept name and...- phil25

I have attached a photo of the visible tag, not a lot to go on, having thought back on the dept years and people involved, the truck could be older than 1962 ? the seller has idea of its history, he's just cleaning out "dads" collection, Tks for your time.- phil25

Morning: I have located ex-fire truck,from our depts beginning, not much left actually, but the history of how /what the dept started with is the interest point, as the ordinal members have passed on. the serial number is 18170741 1546021 engine number tag is RH 4spd 435, i guess right...- phil25

Belarus 250as gear shift boot
This is a simple fix i used, not a factory pretty thing...., i cut an old tube into a circle, large enough to cover the existing rubber seal/cover, punched a slightly smaller hole than the shift rod diameter thru it. Then slid it down over the rod until it covered the factory boot area, i... -

What is this clanking sound coming from a rear wheel?
I wonder if you were to jack the rear wheels clear of the ground and turn them by hand..do you hear the noise? going forward or reverse? odd chance the noise id coming from the opposite side but heard on your right side? hope it helps- phil25

Delayed start after sitting a long time?
not sure where you are with this problem...but in regards to the hand primer pump, if you have no pressure yes the o ring could be bad, the point i want to mention is that if the engine is stopped in a spot where the pump plunger is pressed down, the hand pump plunger will just move and not... -

Just going back over the questions on keeping these things going and as usual a lack of responses to the suggestions people have made to try helping those who are asking. To me the reply of its fixed and what the problem was is just as important for others to learn and /or correct wrong info... -

1980 Massey Ferguson MF-205 Overheating
A good mention was about the cleaning of the rad of twigs/grass/etc and sure the fan and water pump turn , but is the fan belt tight enough that everything is turning at the speed it should be? just a thought.- phil25

8011L engine temperature running too cold
Morning: I am not familiar with your tractor/engine itself, but in general thought could there be an air pocket in the system or near the probe itself? is the new probe the same length as the original? and i wonder if you were to block off the rad air flow would the engine temp rise[ it should]...
