    I sort of agree. My 211B and 630 don't give me any trouble. But then my IH 544 hydro is nice for what I use it. Maybe I need a 970 or a 930 that someone is doing a great restore on 😁. Phil

    Spraying yesterday with this tractor and lost power steering. The hytran level is OK and the 3 pH raises OK. Where do I begin to look? I would not recommend this series tractors to anyone. Phil

    Combine for rye

    I don't have any experience with combines but am thinking of getting one in the future. I've been told that rye is difficult to combine. I want an older small so machine that could handle rye and oats mostly. How would a Case 660 with a 10' head work?

    I think the wiring is OK, just as you describe it. Sometimes it works fine but other times it does not activate the valve motor unless I jump the thermostat terminals on the valve.     Yes it is an old thermostat. What I can not figure out is why when I bypass the thermostat until the valve is open I can leave it and it stays open until the thermostat opens. I am thinking some corrosion on contacts somewhere. Phil
