    Thanks for trying to help and my mistake. Should have said when we cross the field to the frame it charges. Thanks so much to all who are trying to help and I don't know for sure how to use the great service so I think I have duplicated my reply several times. Thanks again. Patti

    We have a John Deere 50 with a good generator, good voltage regulator and is wired according to diagram. When we cross the battery to the frame, it shows charging, which according to some posts means bad voltage regulator but have tried 2 new ones so pretty sure we are missing something else...
