    Tractor and Hay baler advice

I dream of 150 bales an hours :) I have a son in law for stacking help. Permission to marry my daughter was free farm help :) :) :) I think I will get someone to check the baler over make sure there's nothing in the knotter that's obviously wrong, but I will get a sisal 9000 twine and see how...

I'll look into getting a different twine for next year. I still have enough left of 12000 just in case. Thanks.

    Tractor and Hay baler advice

I left the bottom of the field last year til late in season because it was such a wet summer i even got the tractor stuck in the ground in June. Anyway it was so thick and not very good by the end I had to get someone else to round bale and take it away. I tried to mow it but it jammed up so...

BTW. Not knowing the characteristics of the knotter of this baler, is it normal for the NH68 to leave 1.5" twine left over pieces around the knotter or on the hay bales? Seems to be a side affect of the knotter mechanism, 2 pieces of twine for every bale. If not normal what would cause it...

Ok, will think about that next season. Thinking about it I don't recall twine snapped. In the heat of the moment and with the changeable UK weather, I'm just clearing and moving on. I don't have to re-feed the twine or anything.

Attached pics earlier, 1.85m mower, and PZ Haybob 300. The tedder does need servicing, it has missing or broken tines and springs that are dead, and the gates at the back are just about surviving. A tine kit and new gates are my winter job. The windrows in the pics are the year it struggled a lot
