Changing V-belts with a loader
I think I got mine on ebay - Amazon has them, later I found them at an electric motor shop. Grainger's? McMaster? Probably. Be sure to get the correct width. They do stretch a bit with use, install them as short/tight as you can. It's not particularly difficult to shorten them after running... -

Changing V-belts with a loader
The easy way out is to purchase segmented v-belts. I had the same situation on a 4500. This turned a major job into an easy one. Still working 10 years later. -

"...It's milky..." Be sure the boot on the gear shift lever is in good condition. It's the most common place for water infiltration.- pomester

Rocker oil feed tube
"...anything, I could pour down..." Anything you 'pour down' the tube is not going to reach the seal. The seal is a small square sectioned O-ring. It is stuck to the block and the steel tube is turning inside it. You could remove the side cover and access the point where the tube is... -

It does take some time to get oil to all the places. The way it works is there is a passage in the camshaft which aligns with the feed tube every revolution. So it 'pulses' oil rather slowly up the tube to the rocker shaft. You should ascertain the feed tube has a seal and is inserted into... -

Engine idling and the valve cover off you should be flipping oil off of each rocker and getting your distributor and ignition side accessories covered in oil after a few minutes. -

1970 ford 4000 coil / no spark
The distributor in my pictures is from a 1965 4500. In your picture I see a screw resting outside the housing to the left which would appear to be the proper screw to hold your points. You could do a lot of cleaning with some brake cleaner and compressed air. A few drops of oil in the top of... -

I don't have a factory exploded diagram, perhaps someone else will. Here's a rebuild on a 3 cylinder distributor I did a few years ago with the parts cleaned and ready for reassembly. Bottom photo is before removal. Your tractor should run just fine on points and I'd suggest you get it... -

TO-30 clogging sediment bowl
"Depending on year that sediment bowl is the right one, but a larger one cannot hurt." That plumbing does not look original. I was under the impression that all TO-30's had the two stage valve with gasoline reserve. If you can point me to this alternative, I am interested.- pomester
