    OT, necessity and invention.

Bought an 05 Ford Escape at auction for $500.00 if October. Really needed a spare car as we had lost 2 out of 4 cars in a month and driving the 9mpg F350 was killing me. Nice little car, wife claimed it right off the bat. It did have a banging noise in the rear I put down to a rusted out gas...

M pto shaft remove and replacement

My buddy removed his PTO unit from his M to replace a leaking seal. I wasn't there for the teardown and now we can't get the shaft back on the inner splined drive. Sorry for my lack of proper nomenclature but its the PTO unit that had to come out because the seal is internal. It's more or less...

    Clunk....

My 1952 8N hasn't been started for a couple of years, (shame on Me!) While verifying that the engine hadn't seized during it's hibernation I recently rocked the crankshaft forwards and backwards slightly. Thankfully the engine is still free but I detected a slight metallic clunk each time I...

    Crabby over prescriptions

Went in to get refills today and the one prescription I can't do without went from $6.00/mo to $395.00/mo. That is after insurance. I sure hope they can find an alternative because that is definitely not in the budget.

    Top Link Pin

Is the top link pin where it attaches to the bush hog the same as the one attaching to the tractor. Also the is some slack between the eyeballs and the bush hog bracket making the eyeballs move side to side a little within the hog bracket. Should I use spacers to reduce the slack?

    Gibson tractor

I came acrossed this tractor on Craigslist. I've heard of Gibsons before but know very little about them. The owner is asking $395 for it, would this be an ok price for it? I'm almost positive the engine is stuck, but I have no idea if it is missing parts because i don't know what they look like...
