    To be honest, I've never taken the filter out. I assume its a paper or fiberglass filter. Do I need to drain my system before I pull out the filter?

    Hello Chuck, I have the same manuals but it didnt answer my questions. You can see the annular groove in your drawing, but mine doesnt have a groove; it has steps. Maybe someone can pop the 4 bolts out of their tractor torque tube and snap a photo for me. Dave R
