    Need a John Deere A fan shaft ASAP please help!

    I have one off a 51 A, do you want the complete assembly from the governor to the fan? I have one but live in michigan. I can mail it since is not too heavy when the governor is removed. Kyle 989-395-4901

    switching front ends, A

    I pulled a non rollamatic shaft and hubs out of a mid 40s A and installed it in my 52A. I had to shorten the gear on the top that the worm gear on the stearing shaft turns, no problems.

    JD trans. problems

    I have a late B that jumps out of third gear only. Detents have stronger springs, shift forks were replaced with jd50 forks. All bearings have been replaced in trans also. The shift lever does not kick out of gear, the gears slide on the shaft. Someone told me it was the over drive shaft...

    stroking a 60 jd

    Should be able to grind on the top of it to make it clear unless you are using the original rod ends of a 60, then not sure.

    I have went through two sets of wet batteries in my superduty in three years, I replaced them 7 years ago and have never had a problem since. I now use two of them in my 52 A at 530 ci with the original starter. Rolls it over very fast with the petcocks closed. I will never buy another wet...
