Sandea is a good herbicide for pumpkins. Can be used pre and post emerge It is expensive! $$$ Command is pre-plant incorporate only! I have also used Prefar and was not happy with it. Post is good for post-emerge grass control. We also rotary hoe and cultivate- Pumpkin Joe
