    8n carburetor

    I replaced my Marvel with a New Zenith due to cold conditions. The Marvel kept frosting up in the cold, and started running rough. Never had a problem with the New Zenith, which I read somewhere on this site is a plus of them. Just in case you are in a cold climate during the winter.

    My 1952 8N Story

    I was working on mine last week and the clamp cracked too. When the muffler doesn't line exactly up, it seems to do this, (Second time in 10 years I forgot not to crank down on it)!

    Studs and torque

    I just replaced mine and it was pretty easy with PB Blaster. Was leaking antifreeze out of the stud holes in the head cover so needed new gasket and red gasket maker on the bottom of studs and screw them in. Needed a new head cover, got great compression and no leaks!
