New Idea 49 M Rake Where to grease?
I talked with someone who has been making hay with the same model for the last 25 years. They've only ever greased the U joints and the caster wheels. It was their fathers hay rake and is still going strong.- R.E.M.

New Idea 49 M Rake Where to grease?
I purchased a New Idea 49M Rake and want to make sure that I get everything that should be greased. The only grease fittings I am seeing are on the Caster Wheel Assembly and Special Universal Drive U Joints. Is there anything on the Reel Heads or the PTO bearing housing that need grease? NH 269 Baler tire
I was able to get the baler home this morning. A local small engine repair guy straightened out the rim, put on an old tire (I believe it's a 235/75R15) with a tube. Thank you everyone for your suggestions, recommendations and support!- R.E.M.

NH 269 Baler tire
The Mahindra front tactor tire 6 bolt pattern doesn't look like it will work. Center of lug bolt to center of lug bolt measures just over 6.5 inches. From center of lug to center of lug measures about 6 inch on the NH 269.- R.E.M.

NH 269 Baler tire
It is the tongue side. It is currently in a farmers driveway about 20 miles away from my place. I was trying to get it home via backroads and 25 mph. Just didn't quite make it. My main goal is to get it home. I have a small 40hp mahindra. It looks like the 6 bolt pattern on the front wheels...- R.E.M.

NH 269 Baler tire
I was towing home a 269 baler and one of the tires came apart. The tire was a G78-15 Tubeless, but had a tube in it. The rim is pretty beat up, which is probably why there was a tube. The wheel hub is in the pic. Which seems to be huge compared to all the rims at tractor supply. What tire would...- R.E.M.
