    cockshutt 770 production

This is a 1963 770 Cockshutt. This model is "all " Oliver except for the paint and decals. This is a rather unusual tractor being a row crop, two speed and the wide fenders. This one does not have power steering. Sure fun to cruise around on though!

    770 Restoration

No, I have not been able to figure what is causing the hyd. unit to heat. Picked up a pressure guage to check pressure at the ports even though the lever seems to center. The manual shows how to remove the whole hyd unit. Anything else I can check before doing that? Thanks

    770 Restoration

the 770 Cockshutt is almost restored. I was able to take it out for a drive before spring seeding gets underway. (could be a while with more snow tonight)

    770 Cockshutt Restoration

The control lever does seem to center. The tractor had a loader on when I got it and was plumbed to what appears to be power beyond. What next?

    770 Cockshutt Restoration

Almost done with the restoration of the 770 Cockshutt. I took it outside for a little drive and still have one issue. The hydraulic system gets very hot and spills oil out the breather cap. I have checked the obvious things. The oil and filter was changed during the restoration. Any ideas????

Thanks Gordey, is that your 770 in the photos section of this sight? I am in the process of restoring one and need the paint codes and sources to complete the project.

    paint brands and color codes

What is your recommendation on paint brand and color codes for my 1963 770 Cockshutt? This tractor has red with cream color on hood, fenders and rear wheels and front rims. I want it to match the original colors. Thanks
