    Oh yes D21,s jumped out of gear bad,, AC shouldve fired every engineer on that project,, D21 never got a 220 rear end at factory expense,, some shade tree mechanic done that Allis never done it by the time the 220,s came along D21,s were all history- just like any AC tractor if they were used...

    allis 175 power diverter

    Sounds like the ramp and rollers need an overhaul inside, also check the rollpin holding the lever on a little play in there can get it out of whack

    Get a bb Chevy or sb Chevy and have it drilled or machined how ever you need it = alot cheaper that way

    Series 2 xt,s had the best transmissions- 68-71 , Series 3 are terrible gear jumpers all caused by bad engineering on AC part ; it cost about 2500 to completely redo one

    Some guy on the AC page done it last year, Peterson was his name look for it in the pulling section but i think he pulled it out and went with a Cummins later, but he got a 426 to work

    Buda Engine coolant going into the oil

    On some the sleeves drop down and you lose the sleeve protrusion allowing the head gasket to leak, it can all be welded up and fixed tho
