    Engine oil

    I have a 1957 Ferguson TO35. I have always put conventional 10w 30 oil in it at oil changes. Been considering changing over to a synthetic blend 10w 30 oil. Any opinions out there on whether that is a good idea or not would be appreciated.

    I have a 1952 Allis G I am thinking about selling. It is an unmolested beauty. Would come with one bottom plow, cultivator and front end snow plow. Runs like a dream. Also have chains for the rear tires. Has front and rear hydraulics. Let me know what you think I should ask for it. Thanks

    D10 serial #

    A buddy of mine brought his D10 over for me to do some work on it. I would like to find out what the serial number is but it is covered by a couple layers if paint. Could someone tell me the best way to remove the paint to reveal the serial number? Thanks.

    Need to change the plugs in my Allis G. Do not want to put put plugs in it that are made in china such as Autolite 295's. Does anyone know if NGK 3510's will work? Thanks

    The head has been pulled off and checked for cracks, etc by a local Napa machine shop. I used the tractor for about a year before water was discovered in the oil. It was not started and used after that discovery, which leads me to believe there is nothing wrong with the block. I think the...

    I have a Ferguson 1952 TO30 I would like to sell. The engine needs a rebuild and is off the tractor on an engine stand. Except for the engine problem the tractor is very solid. Rear tires very good condition. Hydraulics worked good when parked. Would like a ballpark figure on value. Thanks

    It has a two stage clutch. The pto does not work when in "ground" position.

    Went to do some brush chopping yesterday but the pto on my TO35 would not turn. Then I discovered that it would turn halfheartedly when the clutch is let out all the way.
