Hi Brian, Thanks for all the valuable info.! I believe you are right, I think it has been re-decaled. After reading your reply I looked a little closer at the decals, and although they appear to be about45-50 years old,you can see where they are covering up seven 1/8" holes on both hoods...- Randy Penner

I have a D15 series 2 diesel I want to clean up to sell, I found the serial # on the upper left side of the torque box but they don't seem to correspond with when the series 2 was made, it is D15 2144 D it's pretty legible and that's all I can find. Is that the correct number...- Randy Penner
