Hello, It looks to me the only way the cover on the right with the selector lever on right will come off is by removing the large 1 1/8 inch nut under cover on left. That right cover is solid, no heat nor pounding will free it. Thanks Rebob#1l -

Hello , in addition to Larry's comments I would like to add mine as I also am involved with the disconnect on my tractor. I could not release the coupling and I had no idea of length of travel The lever would only move from a 12:00 posn. to about 10:30 pos. it had been out of the coupling... -

Yes Larry, I should have used 601/801 in subject. I have some problems with the selector binding up in #9 and 10 that I havent resolved. #1 servo 0 psi in pos. #9, #2 servo 0 psi pos. #9, #3 servo binding selector no reading as of yet. The tractor is a morphodite with about 3 different... -

Having a problem posting since I changed my Email address. Rcd. notification earlier that all OK. Then notified problem still exists. If this post goes through jump right in with words of advice. In following IT shop manual best I know how, I dont have R2, R1, Nuetral on my later 63 or 64... -

Ill check that out, If that is a Park switch then could I be assured at that position I adjust the lower selector cable @ 2 3/4 inch my 14 selector positions would at least be close? Thanks Rebob -

Hello, its been years! Question on timing SOS . Removed top xmission cover probably 63 SOS , has lower 1/2 pipe plug drain. Is trans. in" park" when rocker arms even, and normally closed lube pressure light is depressed by cam. Light is off! Of course engine off. Second question, Right hand... -

I agree that it almost impossible to locate a lot of the Jacobsen Ford Deck parts, The idler pulley Jac154796 is also sold thru Stens #280-325 $20.56, I had found them also at some John Deere Dealers in the 90's that would work, should be 4 5/8 inch Dia?
