    3600 steering box

Has this always happened or just started? I *believe* there is a check ball in there.

    Ford 3055 Power Steering

A slight update to this. I picked the front end up off the ground and tested the steering again. When I turn all the way to the left, if I go to the lock on that side, I can see the left tire raise up at lock. There is a slight resistance to turning right even with the tires off the ground...

    Ford 3055 Power Steering

Thanks for the replies Sean. It does turn freely if both tires are off the ground. I thought there was possibly air in the system so I did that and turned both directions in order to try and get the air out, but they turned freely without issues. One thing I am not certain of is if it is true...

    Ford 3055 Power Steering

Hello everyone, I have a 1971 Ford 3055 which seems to have a power steering issue when making a right turn. When running, at a stop and without a load on the loader it will turn left with minimal effort, but I have to fight it to turn right under the same conditions. Could it be the ram or...

    Help Identify Power Steering Please

Thanks @Sean in PA and @Fordfarmer for your replies. I think some of these parts have been taken from other tractor years/models so that's why it's hard to find the exact match.

    Help Identify Power Steering Please

Here are some more pictures. I tried to look up the "HALE" info to but came up with nothing. Thanks again!

    Help Identify Power Steering Please

Hello everyone, Can anyone help identify this power steering column? It is leaking so I am trying to rebuild it with fresh seals but I haven't been able to come up with an exact match. I have attached a few pictures and I can include more if needed. The stamping on the side is "LEVS S1 321"...

John Deere 1010 Gas with Power Steering

Yep, I know I can buy the individual gaskets - I was simply asking if anyone knew of a complete gasket kit so I didn't have to get them all one by one. Per your post, there isn't one and I appreciate the info. Working on this thing, has anyone ever had one apart? It appears there's a pin in...

John Deere 1010 Gas with Power Steering

Hi everyone, I am working on my neighbor's John Deere 1010 gas with power steering. He was using it and it started leaking hydraulic fluid out of the power steering box at the front of the tractor. He tore it apart, couldn't figure out what to do and has since asked me to see if I can fix it...

Ford 3000 won't start. Run decent when I bought it.

I think pretty much everyone here has told the OP the same thing. He is low on compression and that's what is causing the issues. Reading the thread (unless I missed it), he has yet to run a wet compression test and seems to be more focused on the "why it ran and now it doesn't" versus the...

    Ford 2000 running terrible

I guess it would depend on where he got his points and condenser. If they are Chinese knockoffs, anything is possible. To the OP - you have an obvious ignition/spark issue that you indicated. Now that you know what is happening (spark, then intermittent spark), take a look from the ignition...

    Ford 2000 running terrible

You may have a bad condenser. I'd change that out and put in new points while you're in there.

    Sad Day

Corporations are so hell bent on profits that they won't even give away something they are going to throw away. It's absolutely ridiculous. Years ago when I was a teenager, I worked at a fast food place and they did the same thing with food. If the food sat under the warmers for more than 30...

    Ford 3055 Steering

Thanks. I just typed in "New Holland Parts" prior to my last post and I got a bunch of parts houses but nothing with diagrams. I'll search this now. I appreciate it.
