    Thanks Bill and Sean for your input! I'd be pulling it with a 4cyl 4000, I'm in southeast Idaho. I've been using and old dearborn 2 bottom I got out of a scrap pile that needs serious work with low availability of parts. I'll probably just sell this plow, was hoping to make it work at that price...

    Spark plug ?

    My Ford came home with the wrong plugs in it , id have to clean them every 15-20 hrs of use or they'd foul up too much, when they were clean or "new" it ran fine. Ive been running the ngk brand, its worth a couple bucks to me to know the plug is never the problem!

    I was hoping you would contribute Dean! I have just heard people say the 6000 was prone to failure, I have no 1st hand experience with it or the SOS, do you think the rearend/4speed tranny of a stock 4000 would hold up to an inline 215 or 223?
