    A few years back every ad I saw was between 7 to 9 thousand , don't know what they were getting just asking price. I would always check them out because I own one myselfy.Most were listed as restored. I believe prices have come down some since then.

    47 8n will not throttle up

    Could be a number of things causing this problem as others have stated , but one more thing to check if its not fuel related, is the weights under the points.Under the plate the points are on are weights that advance the timing when you throttle up. If they get rusty they can stick. A little...

    tea 20 cracked block

    A better fix would be to weld it with a mig welder first and then use jb weld to seal up any pin holes. I have found that a mig does a lot better than a stick on cast.

    Farmall M wont run right

    Yes rusted sticking weighits can cause the symptoms you described. Sticking weights won't let the spark advance. I had the same problem on a Farmall Cub once. Removed the points and plate sprayed with wd40 , ran good after that. It could be as others have posted also. A lot of different problems...
