    Shelter for backhoe.

I think everyone misunderstood. It sounds like the OP can no longer care for his backhoe and is looking for a place that can give it a safe home until someone adopts it.

I was wondering what it started out as.

Not sure my Massey could lift it.

    Homemade ballast?

I didn’t try to pick it up. Looks heavy.

Building a stage for the Craven Corner Shindig

Stage looks great, can you leave it up? Maybe make some reinforcements or whatever it needs to stand up to the weather all year. Good excuse to have future gatherings.

What happened to pickups - part two

Looks like a nice truck, the first long drive is always fun. A little over 1500 miles/year average? I put more than that on my car in 2 weeks.

    Cement Mixer Advice

I used a similar mixer for a small project like that. By the time I was finished it was worn out and my back hurt. I’d suggest getting it delivered by mixer truck which I’ve also done.

Frame looks a tad long for a single axle day cab.

    Very handy truck

Nice, looks like it might be retired from a career on the railroad.

    3 Point Carry All

IBC (just the cage) goes on mine for gathering firewood. Handy setup and easier to maneuver in the woods than with a trailer.

Being stranded and walking home...scooter in the trunk?

The starter in Our ‘66 Bug died during my kid years. We drove everywhere parking on a hill or where we kids could push it. I guess replacing a starter in an old VW was only for millionaires because I recall going for quite a while like that.

Being stranded and walking home...scooter in the trunk?

No scooter experience. I have a receiver hitch bike rack that’s easy to use either on the front or rear of my truck. And you can always take the bike and just pedal around for the fun of it.
