    What happened to pickups??

    Coming home on a long distance trip and about 200 miles out had to stop at a rest area to catch 40 winks. With a little reworking and some plywood, that space behind the seat would make a reasonable bed.

    The tractor I rely on is my MF 40. Starts right up when I turn the key cold. Runs well, maybe an occasional miss. After I've worked it and it's warmed up, I go to restart and have to crank, crank, crank repeatedly. Finally grumbles to life and I don't know what to troubleshoot since it normally...

    Interesting that it has a cradle for the boom up near the cab. Wonder why they used the trailer/dolly instead?

    Isn’t there some technique where you pour something flammable/explosive in there then toss a match? Sounds fun and dangerous and might even work.

    That’s interesting to know; I was always impressed by the quality of the fruit, considering how little effort I put into it. BTW my Massey Ferguson 40 with a Ford loader keeps going. It’s my main tractor, has the Continental Z134 engine and hi-Lo transmission.

    Beautiful fruit. At my old place the asian pears did best out of all the fruit trees I planted. Cherries did well, too. Didn’t spray, everything turned out fine.

    Metal cutting blade in a sawzall. Need to clamp the hose in a vise.

    Yes, hexamine. Looks like people use them for camp stoves and other things. Maybe an emergency backup fuel as they are pretty small.
