    Commenting on both posts. I got a carb kit (only way to get the gaskets fast) and pulled it off and went through it, blew everything out and reassembled. Started up fine, ran much smoother than it was before. So went to work it enough to warm it up, went out in the pasture and got a bucket...

    That might have something to do with it, as I'm sure I've been keeping it kinda low, simply because I'm still trying to wash the crap out of the tank into the inline filter I keep having to change out. I REALLY don't want to pull the tank off of it, but I suspect that's a different adventure...

    Yes it does have the solenoid and it's fairly new. "Some choke" would be partial pull of the knob before even turning the key? I can give that a try. Thanks!

    I had always considered it IH's answer to the 4020 Synchro-range. Similar output numbers in red clothes. Of course, IIRC International didn't have a reliable 'oh yeah watch THIS' for the PowerShift.
